THE FARMHOUSE
The guesthouse is a fully self contained home that offers privacy with a fully fenced yard filled with a native and cottage garden.

The home comprises of a lovely iconic queenslander outdoor deck, perfect for dining and for the children to play.
The air-conditioned house has four bedrooms and can sleep up to eight guests.
The kitchen is fully equiped for you to cook up a storm.
CUSTOMISE YOUR STAY
Guests can choose if they want a quiet and private stay or get amongst it and help out on the farm. You can meet the owners over a sunset drink at the top house verandah overlooking spectacular views.
There are many fun farm activities to be involved in such as tending to the donkeys and feeding the animals.
Guests will have access to 130 acre property which allows bushwalking.
The property has it's own hill with a look out to watch the sun go down.

If you're looking for a day trip or some activities in the area, we can take you on guided tours of the area, day trips and organise activities for you.

We have been the proud owners of this rustic paradise for ten years. Both Trev and I enjoy the beauty of the Australian landscape and are proud to call this place our home.
Lots of love, sweat and tears have gone into this farm and we love nothing more than to share it with like minded people.
We are animal lovers, kid lovers and nature lovers who don't mind the odd wine and love sharing travelling stories over a camp fire surrounded by our new friends. We also like our privacy and respect if solitude is what you are after we can happily accomodate that too.
LOCATION
Donkay is the terrific overnight stay for travellers leaving Brisbane to go to Whitsundays or Visa Versa.

The farmhouse is tucked away in the Austalian native bush 20 mins out of Gladstone and 10 minutes to Calliope.
Gladstone is the beginning of the great barrier reef with charters regualary leaving to Australia's iconic nature reserve Heron Island.
If you want to stay on the main land Awonga Dam which has BBQ boat tours and fishing is only 30min down the road.
Agnes Waters and the fishing village of Seventeen Seventy are 1.5hrs away ideal for a day swimming on the beach or trying some water activities.

The farm is situated on 130 acres of natural Queensland bushland within close proximity of many tourist destinations.
​
Enjoy the tranquility of the Queensland bush whilst listening to the Kookuburras and seeing the visiting native Kangaroos.
Our farm is home to eight donkeys, seven free range chickens, two dogs and one lazy cat.
